That is a excellent way of looking at it. Sometimes the alternate way of saying something is even better than we thought if you know what I mean
Familiarity with words can sometimes trip you up as well because what you think the word means is not what I think the word means and LG thinks it means something neither of us thought about before!!!

My opinion is that apart from political cultural differences we all speak the same language here. Even Kaunisto, who learned English at school as possibly a third or fourth language, has no problem understanding anything we say possibly because politically we are on the same, sort of, wavelength that he is, but my feeling is that anyone who speaks, reads and writes English and has it as their first language should be able to understand everything written here without explanation.

What about the word "idea?"
Why do some folks pronounce it, "idear?' or "ideerr?"
Could be confusing I'd say!
