Strangers are People

I've already introduced myself ]here but it has been awhile.. so here we go again lol.

Hi ya'll. My name is Josh, I am 28 yrs. old, Agnostic, and Live in Illinios. I have 2 cats, a small apartment, a coffee maker, and a lot of opinions.

From the age of about 3 until I turned 16 or so, I was a Christian, I went to Sunday School every Sunday, My Mom and Dad were Sunday School teachers. My Dad also had a Dark Side, and when I would tell my Sunday School Teacher this, they called me a liar.. and said That I would go to hell for lying. This is one of the first real reasons I started Doubting Christianity, and started to lose my faith in Humanity.

I always felt that there should be some sort of higher power, I do not know who or what it is, I've read about (more than followed) a few different religions, and they all seem too flawed to be true.

I'm not the Greatest debater, nor do I know a lot about specifics on Religion and Politics, But I am a 'Professional Web Surfer' and it is a daily habit of mine to get online with a cup of coffee, and read as much news as my brain can handle. So I've read a lot about events, but sometimes I do not always know the specific details.

I often play the neutral man, when friends get in arguments, or even online. I usually can see and or relate to both sides. I have seen and experienced quite a few things in my life, so I think it makes it easier for me to relate with a lot of different people, in one form or another. There are a few things that I strongly believe in, but I have friends that strongly oppose it, and like I've said we are still friends.

Anyway I usually try to avoid debating, but since this is The Neutral Zone, and we are all friends, I look forward to discussing issues with people.

Hey Josh, good to see you around again! Thanks for the update about yourself - maybe we should all do that once in a while.
I enjoy reading a lot as well and absorb everything I possibly can - I don't always join in a lot of the debates but I thoroughly enjoy seeing other people's views as well, and they're always interesting. I love getting to know people and the way they think and react.
Have made lots of friends on runboard and most of them are really great people, always friendly and helpful and full of fun, knowledgeable and intelligent and caring. People the world over are basically the same I've found, and I've discovered that like the old song, a stranger is simply a friend you don't know - yet!
