Re: I posted Same here: definitely the fingers of one hand! That could be partly my fault though, as I find it hard to trust, and hard to believe that people want me to keep in touch after I move. Lack of confidence, I guess. I am trying to improve.
I’m in the Ottawa area, visiting my daughter. The day before I arrived, tornados did a lot of damage to neighbouring areas, so the roads and stores are busy with people who are without homes or without power (a transformer station was also hit).
Yesterday we went to a fall fair which I thought was quite impressive: big midway; lots of livestock competitions and horse shows; tractors; craft, baking and art competitions. Had my first “beavertail” which is like a flat waffle with a variety of toppings. (I chose the gooey maple and vanilla topping.) Today we went shopping and I bought scented candles and a warm hat.
Taking this time to catch up at message boards makes me feel a bit guilty. I only get to see my daughter two or three times per year. Will put the iPad aside and post again after I go home.
Re: I posted Today I made my final time adjustment in preparation for my new working hours. The goal was to move the start of my day back by 4-1/2 hours and I succeeded in doing this. Last hurdle, adjust bedtime routine so I get enough sleep.
