It's amazing how much more energy I have doing that, and how much more alert I am too. I do crosswords regularly, every day in fact. I find that since I've been getting more sleep, even these seem to be a lot easier.

That's good - and you obviously then need the extra sleep then.
I guess I'm just lucky because I function well no matter how little sleep I have ... I find stress is more of a problem than lack of shut-eye.

I become more stressed and agitated when I don't get enough sleep, but I also become stressed and agitated from not having enough time in the day to do everything I want and need to do. emoticon I look forward to the day when I can quit my 8-5 job and work on my own schedule, and still have time to enjoy life. For now, there's no rest for the wicked. emoticon

You will make it happen Lesa because you're that kind of person with a go-ahead mindset!
Strange though how things sometimes work out because I looked forward to having more time to do my own stuff too and I'm busier than I ever was, but admittedly in a different way which is much, much better than holding down a normal job. emoticon emoticon
There never seem to be enough hours in a day!

I know what you mean Petal.
I seem to be constantly downsizing. Whenever I think I've done one job, it usually creates three others.
We started clearing out old papers this week. Among them we found photos I want to scan, all my mother's old documents which I not sure whether I can destroy or not and a whole lot of other papers. So now I have to sort through all of them and scan whatever I need to keep before I can burn them.
More work.

I made some serious life-style decisions over the last 2-3 years to give myself more time for reading and just relaxation instead of going full tilt every day. Most of the time I am very happy I made those choices though I do miss the extra money in the bank sometimes.

I've done some incredible lifestyle changes in the last 5 years...and now, even more. I'm happier, even though I'm about to become very busy and it's going to last many, many years...... emoticon
