Re: Working it!
The second was horrible for what we want to do here (would make a nice background for something else though)...

Re: Working it!
I added font-family declarations and added 25% more blue to all the graphics tonight. Would have done more but am working the BotM poll and it is taking a lot of time...

Re: Working it!
Going back to the nav-boxes, they look correct in FF but not in IE or Opera, I overdid things with the nav-boxes and it made working with them very difficult so I asked Lesigner Girl for help and she cleaned up the code there which should make it easier to get totally fixed. I took out one of the closing div elements because I think I had one to many in place but it doesn't seem to have changed anything...

Re: Working it!
Now of all the dumb things, I kept reading in a closing > bracket on the nav boxes that wasn't there!!! I put in a simple fix for the giant white spaces that showed up in IE6 and it looks good now according to James which means it should look correct for everyone else

Re: A history of this boards developement
Did a simple poll table fix so the results bar look like it belongs to this boards graphics instead of the old "white ice" skin.
We are getting close to the time for me to create the forums for the board now...

Re: A history of this boards developement
CSS is fairly easy for me to figure out (given time) but my weak spot is HTML (mainly because it changes quickly and TONS of outdated HTML help is on the Web which tends to confuse this old preacher). Nonetheless, I have started going through the HTML of the old "Ice-White" theme and am updating the stuff I know how to update.
Changed the "back to top" code today to what I think is the modern way to do it.

Re: A history of this boards developement
That was the original plan but the way things are going it would be September before I finish and I really don't wish to wait that long.
We need to get the boards TOS and guidelines done then work on getting the first forums ready to go. I'll keep working on updating the code and with luck on your works side and mine we should be able to officially open by July 1st.
I see Lesigner Girl didn't resign so that looks good. I know you want a fourth but lets be honest. You have the veto power over all of us officially here but your life doesn't allow you that much time so in reality it will be Lesigner Girl and I running this. I suggest if you do get a fourth admin then look for one that can be trusted but which is limited on his/her time to monitor this board. That way you not only keep the appearance of fairness we want to promote but the reality will be close to the appearance if you know what I mean.
